Bellagio is a small jewel located on the promontory that separates the two southern branches of Lake Como, those culminating in the cities of Como and Lecco. Well-known As the “Pearl of Lake Como” is home to a colorful historic center, beautiful gardens (parks of Villa Serbelloni and Villa Melzi), charming neighborhoods (such as Pescallo or San Giovanni), and much more.

Tremezzo – Opposite to Bellagio, with the wonderful gardens of Villa Carlotta

Located on the western banks of Lake Como, just opposite Bellagio, Tremezzo is a charming village famous for its stunning views of Lake Como’s central area. This picturesque destination offers a delightful lakeside promenade and you can visit two iconic landmarks: Grand Hotel Tremezzo, a prestigious 5-star hotel, and Villa Carlotta, an historic villa open to the public, featuring one of the most beautifiul gardens in all of Italy.

Villa Balbianello – The villa of the movie Star Wars and Casino Royale

Located in the hamlet of Lenno (Lavedo peninsula), Villa Balbianello has been the set for films such as Star Wars (Attack of the Clones) and James Bond (Casino Royale). It is also one of the most popular locations for photo shoots and weddings on Lake Como.

Originally built in the 18th century, the villa offers elegant architecture and panoramic terraces with breathtaking views of the lake. Accessible by boat, Villa del Balbianello is a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts and nature lovers.

Isola Comacina – The only island of the lake

Located in the waters off Tremezzo, just a few kilometers north of Argegno, this small piece of land is almost uninhabited and welcomes a lot of curious visitors. Isola Comacina overlooks the Zoca de l’oli, a bay that takes its name from the local production of olives. Accessible by boat, the island features charming walking paths, archaeological remains, and the church of San Giovanni.

Nesso – The famous Nesso George, locally known as Orrido di Nesso

Nesso is a picturesque village sitting on the banks of Lake Como. Smaller than the nearby Bellagio, but it’s a real heaven for those who seek peace and tranquility.
